I heart Firefox

It’s no secret. I love Firefox. It’s the first thing I install on any computer I use, regardless of it being Windows or Mac. I have successfully converted most of my friends (and family) to Firefox. With Firefox 3 coming out tomorrow – I’m only too happy to get this button here. So go ahead, download Firefox and make it the most downloaded application in a 24 hour span. While you’re at it, go and pledge here to download. Make that map of India turn a shade red would you?

I wonder if I should. It definitely can’t be any better than my current browser anyway. Who knows, my current browser may even have some features this doesn’t have.

Okay, now that you are all riled up, let me add that my current browser is Firefox 3 beta 5 😉

  3. No we should not. The map of India does not include PoK. 😀

I am sorry to report that Firefox 3.0 sucks.

It’s unstable — especially the feature that looks nifty and is a search on the address bar. It just hung up on me three times in the last 3o minutes.

I think the world will be a better place if everyone just goes back to using lynx. Stop browser wars, use Lynx. 😉

FF 3 is pretty kewl with most of my favorite extensions on it already.
@nilu if am not wrong search on address bar was already there prior to FF3.
The url autocomplete is neat but i had it already in FF2 with an autocomplete extension.

Recently noticed safari for windows and read somewhere that it performs better than FF on windows. havent tried it though..

Tried Opera? Beats the heck out of Firefox. I use both Opera and Firefox but prefer Opera by far. It is faster and lighter but has more features than FF3. Try it out sometime and give it a month. I promise you won’t go back. http://www.opera.com
